“Dancing through time” – dance salon in the club “Mara” will be held on December 4, 2023, beginning at 19.00, admission is free.
We invite everyone to plunge into the magical atmosphere of his majesty DANCE.
We all at least sometimes dream of a magical opportunity to overcome time and distance, to explain our feelings and thoughts to anyone, bypassing language, cultural, age and social barriers. And such a marvelous way exists – it is dance.
Through dance people express any feelings: joy and grief, love and hate, resentment and gratitude, passion and indifference, fear and delight …. Dance can be at the same time a kind of fight, and meditation, and even a religious rite.
Dance is a universal language, a means to express and convey to others through time and distance, our fantasies and feelings, hopes and disappointments, as if there were no physical laws for it. Dance movements to any musical accompaniment are available to everyone and without words, without arguments and long discussions can understand the desires and aspirations of each other.
People dance at any age. Here, a baby who has barely learned to walk stops on the street, hearing the sounds of music flowing from the window, and begins to rhythmically squat to the beat. And next to him, sitting on a bench, his great-grandfather, without noticing, begins to tap his foot to the beat of the music and pat the rhythm with the palm of his hand on his knee.
People dance everywhere: on a hot beach and in the tundra, in the mountains and deserts, in the halls of luxurious palaces and in slums, on the streets of huge cities and in a clearing near a lonely hut on a farm. People have danced, dance and will dance at all times and under all circumstances: for good luck, before hunting or to cause rain for the harvest, preparing for battle and celebrating victory or mourning defeat, at balls and folk festivals, at weddings and parting with someone forever.
