On March 6, 2023, a spiritual-patriotic, social and cultural program “Meeting of Friends” was held in Pinsk.
The program was attended by young men and women – organizers and participants of the Youth Ball of Soligorsk region (students of cadet classes of school 1 of Soligorsk (class teacher Petrovich Inga Anatolievna) and the youth of St. Nicholas parish, Chairman of the organization of military sailors of Soligorsk Sergei Sokolov, Chairman of the “Soligorsk Jewish Community” Evgenia Yefimova, teachers of schools of the city, writers and poets.
First of all the participants visited the People’s Museum of the Red Banner, Order of Ushakov of the 1st degree of the Dnepr Military Flotilla and the 1st Training Unit of the USSR Navy.
In the museum there was a meeting with Vladimir Magomedovich Bisultanov, a veteran of the Armed Forces of the Navy, Captain 2nd rank, Nikolai Nikolaevich Tikhonov, captain of the 1st rank, chairman of the Organization of Military Sailors of Pinsk, museum curators and activists of the club “Pinsk Guardsmen”. A friendly conversation and communication took place in the museum.
Then all the participants of the meeting went to the Memorial Complex to the Liberators of Pinsk and laid flowers on the mass grave.
At the Memorial Complex Vladimir Magomedovich Bisultanov, captain of the 2nd rank, told about the heroic feat of the liberators of Pinsk.
Then, the Spring Evening of Musical and Ball Culture was held in the Pinsk City House of Culture. The participants of the Youth Ball of Soligorsk region presented their favorite ballroom dances with honor. The evening was attended by young talents from Luninets city of the club “Miridans”, as well as children of the Ballroom Dance Studio of the State Unitary Enterprise “Pinsk City House of Culture” (director Tsyrkun L. N.).
